The platonic ideal of an American realist film. My favorite Shelly Duvall performance of all time. A masterpiece. 

I was really unexpectedly moved by this. It’s such an incredible look at how consumerism, media, the drive for money and fame are so core to the American experience.

Will never think of having a Coke and a smile in the same way again.
