Interesting series of short stories linked together by their focus on the societal and personal challenges of women. The elevator story that comes towards the end of the film is probably the strongest - but there’s a tremendous flashback in a Paris nightclub that steals the film.
In all, it’s a bit trite compared to Bergman’s other work (particularly during this period), but it’s pleasant enough.
