Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, 2016 - ★★★★

Rogue One and Andor stand alone as projects that exist within the Star Wars universe without being wholly derivative of George Lucas’s style and aesthetic.

Rather Tony Gilroy understands that Star Wars is best when it’s remixing classic cinema to tell an authentic story.

I love that this project is wholly of Star Wars and deeply related to its central myth and core event - but so uniquely its own style. 

It is one with the force.
