Beautiful and tragic. Beginning to think of this series as both an exploration of moral values, but also prophecy.
Do we love the images on our screens? Can we love something we’re distanced from by time and space and light and personal trauma?
I’d like to think that Decalogue VI is about how human beings hunger for real connection, real touch, real love. Even though it’s overwhelming and makes us at risk for pain.
By far my favorite in the series so far. Will not be able to stop thinking about Tomek for some time.
