Captain America: Brave New World, 2025 - ★★

What are we even doing here? This looks bad, is scripted poorly and makes poor use of not terrible character performances from Mackie and Ford.

But the Leader? WTAF? This made Modok look like clever special effects. This is Tim Blake Nelson! He’s an incredible actor, and this is how we use him?

I’m very worried that this movie made a ton at the box office (I saw it!) opening weekend and is plainly this bad.

I love comics and comic book movies, and I’ve collected through years of crap storylines (I’m looking at you “Clone Saga”, “Marvel Now!”, and “Original Sin”)  - but at a certain point it gets to be enough.

Outside of “Ultimate Spider-Man and “The Ultimates” - Marvel comics right now are at a serious low point. The same can be said for the MCU
